Commissioner Brian Bingman was sworn in for his first six-year term as Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner on January 13, 2025. He fills the seat vacated by Bob Anthony and joins the other two Commissioners, Kim David and Todd Hiett.

Bingman’s previous public service includes holding elected office in the City of Sapulpa as City Commissioner in 1992 and Mayor in 1994. He represented District 30 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives and was then elected to the State Senate by voters of the 12th District. In 2011, he was chosen to serve as Senate President Pro Tempore, a position he held until he was term-limited in 2016.

Bingman was appointed as Oklahoma Secretary of State and Oklahoma Secretary of Native American Affairs in October 2020, where he served until September 2023 when he resigned to run for Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner.

Bingman is a citizen of the Muscogee Nation. He and his wife Paula live in Sapulpa.
